Biography
Bjarni Snæbjörnsson is an Icelandic actor working across film and television. His work includes TV series, films, and commercials, across both drama and comedy.
Alongside his screen work, he has built an extensive stage career since graduating from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2007, with numerous productions at the National Theatre of Iceland and other leading venues, spanning classical theatre, new writing, and musicals.
In recent years, he has also written and produced his own work, including the solo show Good Morning, Faggi, which earned him a 2022 nomination for Singer of the Year at the Icelandic Performance Awards.
He is also the author of Mennska (“Humanity”), for which he received the 2026 Storytel Audiobook of the Year Award.
Bjarni holds a BA in English, speaks it fluently, and is conversational in French.
