Biography
Helga Salvör is an Icelandic actress who has worked in television, film and theatre, as well as commercials and audio book reading. Her credits include HÆST (2026), Death of a Horse (2026, not aired), IceGuys (2023) and Come to Harm (2021).
Born in 2001, Helga Salvör studied acting at the Iceland Academy of the Arts, from which she graduated in spring 2025. During her studies, where she received training in both theatre and performance, she participated in various stage projects and graduation performances. She starred in the theatre performance Heimsending at the National Theatre of Iceland in 2021. In 2023 she was a part of Afturámóti, an Icelandic summer theatre located in Háskólabíó, where she starred in the musical Vitfús Blú and the thriller Velkom Yn.
Helga’s upcoming projects include Með allt á Hreinu which will be premiered at Afturámóti in June 2026 and Hvað ef? a play for teens premiered in January 2027.
Helga Salvör is currently based in Reykjavík, Iceland.
