Smári Gunnarsson

Grew up in the Westfjords of Iceland and trained at Rose Bruford College in London. He received further training at The Estonian Academy of Music and Drama.

Since graduating, Smári’s career has consisted of work in film and TV predominantly in the UK where he has been working as an actor, director, musician and voice over artist.

Smári studied languages in high school and is very adaptable when working in a foreign language. He is experienced in performing in the Nordic languages as well as German and Russian. Additionally, he is highly skilled in a range of European accents.

With a rich background in music, Smári is a high baritone singer and plays acoustic guitar & piano to a high standard.

Recent credits include work for Netflix, Channel 5, BBC and Sagafilm. Smári is based in London and Reykjavík.
