Unnur Birna is an Icelandic actress who graduated with a BA in Acting from the Iceland University of the Arts in the spring of 2022.
Her acting career began at an early age. Born in 1998 in Reykjavík, Unnur appeared in several screen roles as a child, including the TV series Ørnen (2006), The Cliff (Hamarinn, 2010), The Lava Field (Hraunið, 2014), and the feature film December (Desember, 2009), in addition to various commercials, short films, and voiceover work for children’s programming.
Since graduating, Unnur has primarily worked in film and television, although her formal training was focused on stage performance. In addition to screen work, she is an experienced voice artist and audiobook narrator, a field she has pursued alongside freelance projects since completing her studies.
