Halldór Laxness Halldórsson

In 2011 he graduated from Stage Performance Theory at the drama department at the Icelandic Art University. He has directed numerous plays, and worked as a dramaturg for the professional theatres in Iceland on countless occasions. Halldór has been in the writing team for hit television shows Steindinn okkar 2013 and Mið-Ísland 2011. And worked as an actor both on stage, and in film and television (Fúsi, Steindinn Okkar, Mið-Ísland,Borgarstjórinn). Halldor has collaborated with Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson, as a scriptwriter for various projects. In 2016 Halldor worked with director Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurðsson as a dramaturg on the feature film Under the Tree. He is a founding member of the comedy troupé Mið Ísland – the most popular stand up comedy show in Iceland.
