Hólmfríður Hafliðadóttir

graduated with a BA in Acting from Iceland University of the Arts in the spring of 2024.

Summer 2024, she participated in three shows in Afturámóti, a summer theatre in Reykjavík. Her one-woman show Flokkstjórinn has toured around Iceland over the previous three summers and was at RVK Fringe 2023.

Hólmfríður is an improv comedy actress and a part of Improv Iceland, which performs every Wednesday evening in the National Theater of Iceland. Hólmfríður recently voice acted in a new and very popular Icelandic children’s show called Lubbi finnur málbein.

Hólmfríður played Nina in the award winning short film The Bride by Hjördís Jóhannsdóttir including Best Icelandic Short Film at RIFF and Special Mention at TIFF, and it was shown on OFF.
