Júlíana Sara is a writer, producer and lead actress in the TV series “Ordinary People”.
The first season was aired in 2018 and now in 2022 the 4th season is about to air and the 5th season is on its way.
“Ordinary People” is produced by Glassriver and released on one of the main tv stations in Iceland “Sjónvarp Símans”.
It has been nominated 3 times for Best Fiction Series in Eddan – Icelandic Film and TV award.
She is one of two writers of the sketch comedy show “Þær Tvær” or “Those two”.
She and her colleague played all the characters as well.
“Those two” got two seasons and was aired on Channel 2 in 2015 and 2016.
Júlíana is mostly in TV shows, films and advertisements. These include the roles such as: Karítas in “Grimmd” or “Cruelty” and Lilja in “Cop Secret”.
She graduated from American Theatre Arts in Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance the spring of 2013, having been as an exchange student in Columbia College Chicago on her second year.
Currently she is in a play called “Langelstur að eilífu” and is making season five of aforesaid “Ordinary People”
