María Dögg Nelson

graduated as an actress with a B.A. in Acting and Performance from the Department of Performing Arts, Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2016.

She is an experienced singer and has completed various courses in both classic singing and complete vocal technique. She trained jazz ballet dancing for 8 years and has a background in martial arts and is currently both training and coaching in Mjolnir fighting gym.

She is mostly known for her role in the movie “Sumarljós og svo kemur nóttin” and “Afturelding” tv series. But after graduation she has also taken on a few smaller roles in these following movies and tv series; “Vitranir”, “Borgastjórinn”, “Pitty the lovers”, “Lof mér að falla”, “Ráðherran” and more
