graduated as a contemporary dancer with a B.A. degree from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2019.
Before she started her university career in dance she completed a diploma in classical ballet and contemporary dance from the Classical Dance School in Iceland (Klassíski Listdansskólinn). She has participated in advertisements, music videos, a short film and theatre productions.
On her third year in university, she was a trainee with the Iceland dance company. That same semester she starred in Richard the third, a production of the City Theater, where she played the role of young Elizabeth. She recently premiered Níu Líf/Nine Lives, the musical, in the City Theater where she played and danced various roles.
Sólbjört is known for being one of the dancers in Hatari, an industrial-techno-punk performance band. She has been a choreographer and a dancer for Hatari since 2017. In 2019 she participated in the Eurovision song contest with Hatari.
